Nominated for a Latin Grammy Award and honoured at the Brazilian Music Awards, Rogê is now one of the leading ambassadors of the revival of Brazilian popular music.
Nicknamed the ‘Prince of Rio’s Nights’, he has long set the stage alight at Gema, the iconic samba club. A master of blending genres, he has established himself as a key figure in Sambalaço, that irresistible fusion of samba and funk. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to promote Brazilian music, far from clichés and borders. A radiant, generous energy that does the soul a world of good.
