Will beauty save the world? That is the challenge taken up by Bijan Chemirani, Redi Hasa and Rami Khalifé, three virtuosos who have come together to bring to life *L’Antidote*, an instrumental repertoire of rare finesse that pits the healing power of music against the poisons of our times. “Music is an antidote to reality, which is sometimes marred by disappointments and shattered dreams,” explains Rami Khalifé. Blending contemporary jazz, Mediterranean influences and world music, the trio combines improvisation with sonic storytelling.
