Driven by a shared desire to liberate their instruments from their traditional contexts, Matheus Donato, the Brazilian cavaquinho virtuoso, and Guillaume Latil on the cello form a unique duo. This project is not merely a collaboration, but a genuine meeting of two worlds, two artistic sensibilities, and two distinct musical histories. The aim is clear: to fuse these differences to create a new kind of music, imbued with poetry, improvisation and, above all, freedom.
