Floating is a masterful gathering at the pinnacle of international jazz! For this new venture, soprano saxophone prodigy Émile Parisien, already the recipient of five Victoires du Jazz awards, has surrounded himself with some of the most prominent figures in the music world. On piano is Yaron Herman, a genius improviser accustomed to navigating between rock, electro and classical music. The transatlantic flair is provided by double bassist Linda May Han Oh, a Grammy winner and collaborator with Pat Metheny, whilst percussionist Prabhu Edouard infuses the project with the rhythmic flavours of his tablas.
