Nesrine

A Franco-Algerian artist born in Douai, Nesrine has lived in France, Switzerland, Spain, New York and finally Paris, nurturing a rich and singular identity. Singer, cellist and songwriter, she blends Arabic, French and English in songs inspired by her encounters with people and her roots. Her common thread? Her cello, which accompanies her everywhere: solo instrument, bass, and in all registers. Her voice, sometimes powerful, sometimes fragile, conveys a sincere and deeply human expression.
